well, i’d set this as a personal challenge, but set the date too early (or so i felt) so i tried to delete it…
the only way to delete it is to remove the entry completely- to ‘give up’ on it. So i did. as far as my list goes! but that was weeks ago, and i decided to try a new tactic= i set something ELSE on my list as a challenge- getting a passport! i mean, that makes sense, right? get the passport first?
then i re-added ‘move to england’ and it deleted my passport challenge. SO. i’m going to change ‘move to england’ to ‘move to Britain’—especially since i am not certain that it will be ENGLAND and not WALES or IRELAND that i end up in… or even perhaps the isle of man! who knows.(yes, i know IoM is not TECHNICALLY in the UK, but it is a protectorate, so lea’me alone! lol!)
anyway, i will be posting links and comments as i progress- start to finish, on the move to britain thread, so if you are interested, pop on by!

I’ve decided just this past hour to set a deadline for my move. This makes it a REALITY. Even though it’s not here yet, it WILL be here- one day.
While i’d LIKE to set the date for 1 year, i know i’m not prepared enough, after just having moved across country less than a year ago.
SO. I’m setting my deadline for January 1st, 2009.
This gives me 2 full years to save, prepare, and make arrangements.
On January 1st, 2009, I will be in England.
