Yay! I bought butterfly hairclips from H&M today. I &heart; the colour of them! Sorry for the crappy photo. It is taken with a GSM phone. I didn’t have a proper camera.

Ok, why am I posting a photo of a piece of stone you may want to know? Well, because this is an emerald. I ♥ emeralds! Green happens to be my favourite colour and emerald is a beautiful shade of green. I also happen to love stones, all shapes, sizes and colours. They truly represent how beautiful nature can be and are the natural gems of this planet. It is interesting to know how they are formed. And, not in the last place, because my second name means emerald in Spanish. So, I’ve always found it a coincidence that I love stones and particular green ones and happen to have a name that means emerald. Unfortunately, I do not own an emerald :(. Not even a very very tiny one :(. So, this photo is a free interpretation of this goal ;). I took the photograph from one of my book about minerals.

And for the smart people who are going to comment there isn’t a word ‘emerald’ (or ‘smaragd’ in Dutch) on that page in the book ;), there is, but it is not on the photo. The lines aren’t fully on there.

I ♥ tiaras! This is my pink one. I’ll be soon getting the same, but then in green. Can’t wait until it arrives. Pink and green are my favourite colours. Ok, I’m in love with all colours in general, but pink and green have a special place in my heart. I have been looking for a green tiara for ages and then I found a site which sells this one but then green (or ‘emerald’).

I like this photo, especially the way the tiara sparkles in the light of the flash and the way the pink reflects off the stones onto my hair.

Redness galore! From the tape that is! You can clearly see the places where the tape stuck to my skin and the actual patches from the allergy test, the white squares. No real reaction can be seen yet, eventhough some of the squares are as red as the rest of my skin. The nurses who took the tape off said it still can react in the next 24 hours. They couldn’t see anything unusual right now. So, I’ll wait and see what the doctor says.

It does feel better now that irritating tape has come off, the itching is less and I can move around better. It was funny, because I realised that when you put your arms up, or down to touch your toes, the skin from your back stretches in a certain way. So, it was almost impossible to touch my toes with the tape on my back, because the skin couldn’t stretch. Come to think of it, it is really logical that the skin does that. It’s just one of those things you never think about really. It is my amazing discovery of the week ;).

Yesterday I went to the hospital for my allergy test. Right now my back looks like this. It is itching allright, but I can’t tell wheater it is an allergy, or it is just itching from the richly applied tape that covers it all. Or an allergy to the tape, which wouldn’t surprise me as I have very sensitive skin. I guess that would pretty much ruin the test anyway ;). I do know my skin overreacts to brown tape (epoxy/glue I guess) and nickle. These are also being tested, so I’m curious what the results are. Tomorrow the tape comes off and at the end of the week I’ll hear the results from the test. I can’t help but feel that tests like this have a large amount of false positives. I’m sure my skin is red on almost all spots, because it gets irritated when you glue things to it for 48 hours :S. Ah well, I’ll see what the doctor says.

I bought some new nailpolishes yesterday. This is bright pink, a colour I ♥! I also bought a turquoise one and a bright green one. I put the green one on my toenails :). My nails aren’t very pretty, but I like to give them some colour every now and then :).

Yay for my sneaker pumps. I like sneakers, but to be a little more feminine heels are very nice, so this combination works for me :D.

Got them from H&M. Love them so much :). Yeah I know the ‘stones’ don’t look great, but then again, nothing you can buy from H&M will look great so close ;). From a normal point of view these earrings are the greatest :D.

I’m blond again. All the colour has faded from my hair :(.
