My mother was 25 years old when I was born. She worked at a utility company in Shreveport as a secretary. She had red hair and was thin. She had a brother who was an electrical engineer. She waited for my father to ask her to marry her, but he never did. So they separated and she gave me up for adoption at 3 weeks old.
