First event: My brother's wedding

In preparation for this extremely posh event on Labor Day weekend:
I bought a formal dress and had it altered to tea-length. I bought shoes and a matching purse and had them dyed to match the dress.
I made a necklace, an anklet, and earrings from pearls and Swarovski crystal beads on sterling rosary links, all very sparkly.
I had my hair cut by two inches off the back and I borrowed a ceramic hair iron from one of my Girl Scouts.
I intend to rock the hell out of this very joyful occasion.
