We booked a tee time for 8:25 and when we arrived, the whole place was shrouded in mist. we played completely in th emist – there wasn’t a single fairway where we could see the green from the tee. Very cold and quite funny – voices in the fog. Went around in 60 even. Very pleased – without the fog and a couple of unlucky sand traps I would have done a lot better.
Played Yarra Bend this morning, 63 on the back nine. Better, but still a long way to go. i saw glimmers of my old game coming back – I need more distance and regularity on my drive.
56 strokes. Not too bad. With a bit of luck and determination (and maybe a lesson) I could be on course to complete this goal!
