Hmmm, this is another one of my goals which has been inspired by video games. I have a copy of Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain? for the Nintendo DS. Basically, this game gives you various mathematical, English, and problem-solving tests, then calculates how well your brain responds and gives you a ‘Brain Age’ based upon your results. The best ‘Brain Age’ you can receive is 20 years old. Seeing as I’m 20 years old myself, I thought ‘No problem’, but after my first set of tests I was given a ‘Brain Age’ of 63!!! Not quite what I was expecting. I’ve been practicing on the tests and managed to improve my score, and now I think it’s a good idea to see if I can also improve my IQ. I’m planning to take an IQ test later on today and see what my score is.
