apologize to people I've done wrong to

i recently apologized to an old friend for whatever hurt i’ve inflicted during our misunderstanding that lasted years. It felt great to just let it go even though the issue wasn’t settled

My prideis the size of a football field. And rather than apologize if and when I did something that have caused pain to someone, I either ignore it or act defensively. So, i think its time for me to lower my pride bit by bit.
