Write down the things I have discovered to be pretty certain in this life - (for me)

- If you try to gain a cat’s affection, it will shun you

- If you ignore a cat, it will pester you

- Dogs like the garbage can

- Dogs LOVE to roll in stinky stuff

- Tomato sauce really does take out the smell of skunk on your dog

- Most dogs cannot be trusted with a raw steak alone in a room

- Although cute, strange dogs are not always friendly!

- Ferrel cats will scratch and claw you if you try to hold them

- Possums are very meek

- Some dogs have a great sense of humor

- Cats, generally, do not have a good sense of humor

- Cats and dogs can be friends

- Not all dogs like each other at all

- Some cats will never accept other cats

- Some of the meekest cats are very territorial

- Most all cats go crazy when they smell tuna

- Dogs will eat the darndest things

- Keeping dogs and cats can be expensive

- Dogs like to lay on stuff

- Cats will lay on just about anything, even the dog

- You can insult a cat

- Most dogs cannot be insulted

- I don’t have to answer the phone just because it’s ringing

- Opinions are just… opinions

- Most people have lots of opinions

- Everyone is entitled to their opinions

- I do not need to internalize or react to other’s opinions, especially their opinions of me

- The opinion of me that matters the most, is my opinion of myself.

- Having a mostly positive opinion about life makes it more enjoyable.

- Commercials should only be viewed for their entertainment value. Any commercial that does not entertain you is rubbish.

- All commercials are designed to separate you from your hard earned money.

- Children very often blurt out the truth, even if it smarts.

- Consistency is important in all relationships.

- Relationships are best when they consist of mutual respect and unconditional love

- Trust but verify

- My mother is always right.

- Men need positive reinforcement

- Women usually don’t do well in groups of 3. Someone always ends up the scapegoat

- Sleep deprivation is a bad idea

- One part of a pair of socks will always go missing, never to be found again.

- Same for gloves

- You can always find a penny lying on the street or ground if you look. Sometimes, you can even find a quarter, dime, or nickel! Once in a great while, you will find a dollar, or even 20 dollar bill

- Breakups are not tragedies, they just feel like they are

- When one door closes, another one always opens

- Intuition is accurate. Gut feelings are always true

- Listening to your intuition will save you a lot of heartache

- Treasure every moment with your loved ones. It really might be the last time you see them or speak to them.

- Say “I love you” at every opportunity. If you don’t have the opportunity, make one.
