What kind of camera do each and every one of you have?

I have a digital Sony Cybershot now but Im taking a Photography class this coming up school year (i’ll be a high school senior ^_) and we are required to have a 35mm manual SLR camera (with interchangeable lenses). If anyone can help me with this then please do. I have less than a month before school begins and I’d like to get to know the camera :).

Are there any models that can be both digital and manual???

We drove (the 3 day drive) to and from California last summer and this is one of the pictures I took of the sunset on the road.
