14:44 today. Jogged .5 at 4.5mph, and the other .5 between 3.5 and 4mph. Slowing getting back to where I left off.

Well, when I began jogging a little less than a month ago, I used the wrong shoes. I am now paying for that with shin splints. My jogging will have to be put on hold for now, but I will continue to diet and exercise (the elliptical will become my best friend) so I can be, at least, more in shape when I get back into my jogging schedule.
13.51 today. First time I haven’t improved upon my previous time. It probably didn’t help that I hadn’t worked out for three days, and that I had just finished an extra-long session on the elliptical.
When I started going to the gym when the school year ended (late May), I simply walked a mile at 3 mph. Since then, I have tried to improve my time each time I go, getting to the point where I can jog almost half of the mile. My most recent time was 13:43. I’m getting closer and closer, slowly but surely.
