As children, many people ask themselves, “What am I living for?” But as the years go by, we are inundated by desires and temptations that divert us from this question, and the need to find a genuine answer withers away.

Moreover, many people are frustrated because they have not yet realized that the desire for spirituality has awakened in them. They are unaware that this is the reason for their dissatisfaction and discontentment. The inability to fulfill the desire for spirituality evokes sensations of helplessness, desperation, frustration and purposelessness of life. This is the main reason for the ongoing increase in drug and alcohol abuse, as well as other means of escape from reality.

When we study the sacred books we must understand that all the words just appear to be words associated with our world. The words however represent spiritual objects and roots, which are under no circumstances connected to our world. There should be no confusion of these spiritual concepts and physical objects.

All the worlds, including our world and all the objects in them are in tune with the single thought of creation: to give endless pleasure to the creature – the soul. This single purpose envelops all creation, from the beginning to the end. It is this purpose that determines all the suffering that we go through, our internal work upon ourselves, and the reward. After the individual correction all the souls will re-unite into a single soul. The soul receives not just a double pleasure ( from both sensing the pleasure and from bringing pleasure to the Creator ), but this pleasure is also multiplied by the number of re-connected souls. Meanwhile, the more people are ascending spiritually by working internally on themselves, the more they start seeing true reality and sensing the other worlds. While still living in our world they are able to attain all the worlds.

If we are now to climb up the spiritual ladder, we must choose to do so. If we forget that the purpose of Creation is for us to become like the Creator, we will not understand why Nature doesn’t help us – and sometimes even places obstacles on our way.

But if, on the other hand, we keep only Nature’s goal in mind, we will feel that our lives are a fascinating voyage of discovery, a spiritual treasure hunt. Moreover, the more actively we participate in this development, the faster and easier these discoveries will come. Better yet, the hardships will be felt as questions we must answer, instead of ordeals we must face in our physical lives. This is why evolving by our own awareness is so much better than evolving only after Nature gives us a painful push from behind.

Unlike a business that demands skills, memory, technical abilities, agility, rhythmic sense, and strength, the spiritual advance demands no talent, because all the talents are attributes of the body that is in this world. In other words, these attributes pertain to the nature of this world, which are not involved in attaining the Upper One.

There must be an initial desire for the Creator. If it’s there, you need nothing more! If you have been endowed with such a desire, the whole process is in your hands from that moment on, because all the forces you need are already in your soul. All it takes is to develop them, and that’s your work.

When a person is born he does not understand at all what he is or why he exists. We can see this, to an extent in babies. This small creation that has appeared is not aware of anything; it does not understand anything and it is not able to do anything. But later on, gradually, it develops all sorts of attainments, realizations and different desires of its own. We cannot understand how this happens, but we are already used to the fact that it manifest in such a way. Suddenly we see that the child will begin doing things on his own, and he is able to think about things and understand how to handle them. “Look at what he did, he understood, see how he reacted,” and so on. In other words, all that gradually manifests under the influence of…what? Well, we do not know exactly, but, generally, under the influence of the Surrounding Light.

Here, everything is simple like a straight line being drawn between two dots.

A ) A man was born with a small portion of the Divine Soul. It’s a faulty, egoistic bit.

B ) The task is to turn that piece into a normal one during the lifetime.

If that mission is successful, there is no need to be born again.

Failure causes to start over in your next life.
