Today I bought a second-hand cd and a record by two Italian artists, Laura Pausini and Paolo Conte. I think it will improve my pronunciation :-)

Oggi ho leggo il mio primo libro italiano!
Natalia Ginzburg: Ti ho sposato per allegria (Easy Readers A – molto facile)
Continued with Unità 8. I spent one hour doing exercises and another 30 minutes on the train going over some words.
I find the numbers (the long ones, in prices) very difficult (when I hear them and am supposed to write them in words), but I think I understand them better than 2 days ago.
Managed to study for one hour today. I started Unità 8
Yay! Yesterday I learned I passed my level A1 (just above beginner) exam!
In the Netherlands marks go from 1 (badly) to 10 (best) and 6 is ‘sufficient’.
My scores for il corso italiano:
ascoltare: 10
grammatica: 9,4
totale: 10!
I try to study somewhat everyday. Mainly going over some lists with words I made.
This week the new course starts (level 2), for which I cannot enroll, unfortunately, due to my work. I decided I will try to keep up and possibly register for the level 3 course after the summer.
To keep up with the level 2 course I will need to do half of chapter 8 of my Italian Textbook this week. I hope to find some time on Thursday. I will keep score of my studying here.
The test went well, I think.
There was a grammar part and a listening part. The latter went perfect: I had no mistakes.
Now I am fighting the urge to start biting my nails again and awaiting the results of the grammar test. Wish me in bocca al lupo...
I have a test coming up next week, so I try to study as much as possible these days.
If all goes well I will officially be on level A1 (of the Common European Framework) by next week.
Ciao!
