Exercising 6 months ago

I’m still taking my Saturday dance classes. I still love to go, and I feel great after each session. I need to start exercising during the rest of the week though. I never do, but I’m going to start. This Tuesday my friend and I are going walking. I am also trying to stretch more.



Starting to Get Moving 7 months ago

January 1st of this year, I made a goal: To start moving no matter what it is! I stuck to it for about 3 weeks, and then boom! Lost all motivation. So the last week of March, I found my motivation again and entrolled in Hip-Hop Dance classes. I’ve never danced in my life but I’ve always wanted to learn, so I enrolled. And so far I have stuck to it, and done pretty well. I have a recital coming up May 29 and really nervous but looking forward to it as well.

I don’t just want to exercise to lose weight, I want to make it a habit to keep moving for the rest of my life. We are built to move, and if we do so it will help keep us healthy forever! I also want to eat better, but for me this is even harder. However, I said “life-long” so I have the rest of my life to practice these habits and my goal is to keep doing it!
