I was making this too hard. I don’t have to buy a professional grade time capsule. Afterall most of the things I would put in there would be pretty small, so I’ll probably just use some sort of plastic container like one of those plastic coffee canisters.
Since I’m turning 28 in about a month, I’m going to set myself the goal to have my time capsule ready to bury by my birthday. I think it will be a perfect way to celebrate.

about this goal, although it is my most cheered active goal I have right now. I’ve got to get with it. The problem is, I don’t even know where to start to find a decent capsule that won’t deteriorate in the ground after a couple of years.
I searched online, but only came up with professional grade capsules that were really really expensive, like ones that cities would buy for centennial celebrations and things like that. I don’t quite have that much stuff to put in one anyway.
If anyone has any suggestions for something that I could make or something that I could use that won’t fall apart, let me know.

It will be so neat to dig it up in 25 or 50 years and see how I was now.
