Retire at 40

40 is 26 years away. so, how do i know when this goal’s been accomplished?

or less. depends. when i start a family, i’ll definitely scale down. i really don’t believe in having strangers raise your kids – not that it did much damage to me. life in academia rocks. about the only profession i can handle that will let me do this.
