a year since the surgery 3 years ago

for my colorectal cancer. I’m doing really well, and all my doctors seem to think I’m going to be just fine. I had a colonoscopy in September (got the all clear!), and now just need to remember to take my fiber! My poor colon keeps yelling at me to keep up at it. :)
My love and prayers for everyone else who is living with, or has lived with cancer.

a year since diagnosis 3 years ago

and what a year. I’m getting tested again in september to make sure I’m still all-clear (and there are no polyps), and then my doctors don’t get to see me for a loooong while. Next time i post, keep your fingers crossed I label it “I’ve done this”!

59 to go before I can be considered a 5 year survivor… but so far my tumor is out and my margins were negative. Now it just has to stay this way…
