Buy a piano

About 2 months ago a Coast Guard officer and his wife moved into the apartment next to mine. Our kitchens are built next to each others and connect to a ventilation fan shaft (so no secrets in the kitchen). Imagine my delight when I started hearing piano playing and gorgeous singing one day when I was home sick from work (not delighted to be sick). I met my neighbor in the hall and she confessed she was a classically trained vocalist. The pianist was in town playing with the touring company of WICKED. They had gone to college together and had gotten together with a third friend to catch up and have lunch. They played an sang for a solid hour. It was glorious.

Both of my pianos were old uprights. I got them really cheap. I loved my last one. It was a four pedal upright. I was supposed to get it in my divorce, but was too afraid (silly me) to ask for it.

Oh well! Now I want a digital piano. I can plug in the headphones and not bother anyone while I play.
