go on date nights without me???

that I went on a date the weekend before my birthday (about 5 weeks ago.) Still that feels like a long time.
I would say they do…We have Fridays off in summer and it just so happens that our town has Ribfest going on. We don’t eat Pork of Beef, but we had us some yummy BBQ chicken and a blooming onion, not to mention some nice beers. It was just the right thing at the right time – a lunch date. By 5 pm I’m sure there will be folks stumbling drunk and I don’t want to be there when that happens.
I’m being taken to an undisclosed location…to be wined and dined…time to pull out that special dress and that irresistible scent…love’s beautiful landmarks are truly a gift to be Thankful for.
In exquisite outfits, with all kinds of attitude, we went on a date nite to the local NPR Wine Tasting fundrasier event. Frankly, I was surprised to see how many pretentious types were present in our relatively small town and how much wine we could imbibe in two hours! Seeing dear friends there we hadn’t seen in nearly a year was worth it. It is nice to see and be seen. It feels good to be on the scene.
It doesn’t really matter where as long as we go. Nature would be a great setting and not just to restaurants or bars. Even a walk, hand in hand would work.
