How I did it: I got great grades in high school and applied to about 12 schools, ten of which I got into. The thought of not going to college never crossed by mind. Once in college I kept my grades high enough to keep me on the honor roll. I joined by sorority Delta Delta Delta, joined the pre-law fraternity, the Sports Management Club and did two abroads, both to England where by now husband was stationed. Read how I did it…

How I did it: When I first decided I wanted to become a nurse I decided to volunteer at my local hospital. I went to my hospital for a volunteer orientation where we went over the various tasks available, a competency test and the application. The next step was to receive the necessary immunizations, and then go to an interview with the volunteer coordinator. I have been volunteering for about 4 months now. Read how I did it…

At this point I get one step closer each day! Today we received our loan paperwork to look over.

Today we met with our Realtor and signed off on some more paperwork that removed some more of the contingencies. In CA each property needs an appraisal, that will take place tomorrow! I can’t believe my dream of owning a house is getting closer!
