Always have something to look forward to

1. Finishing Article #1.
2. Being finished with half of my pregnancy. I have reached the 20-week mark!
3. Level II Ultrasound. Not sure if “looking forward” is the right word. More like “dread”.
4. My new summer bulbs coming out. Should make a regular habit of checking!
5. Visit from my parents.

I’ve really neglected this goal, though there is so much potential for joy here.

What I have to look forward to in March 2009:
1. Having my husband plant my newly arrived summer bulbs for me.
2. Lunch with a friend (I’m cooking!).
3. Getting back to the “discipline” of writing.
4. Having freelance work to do, so I don’t feel too much like I’m free falling without a job.

Lots to look forward to this month:
1. Trip to San Diego for the the July 4th weekend.
2. My birthday’s coming up on the heels of July 4th.
3. Treating an old friend for drinks and/or dinner, because she really talked me up as a job reference.
4. Husband’s uncle’s family will be coming from SF and we’ll be entertaining them.

Answer: Sending a few finished written pieces. I’ve never sent anything out before. This will open up the possibility of maybe getting a few pleasant surprises back. I could certainly use a pleasant surprise.

I also got my first book from a book club chain that my friend introduced me to. It was a hard copy of an In Style fashion guide, which will be quite pleasurable to read!
