I can see us now, strolling hand in hand along the Quayside (I’ll crouch down), bouncing up and down on the Millenium Bridge to make it wobble, encouraging him to indulge in local delicacies like, er, ham and pease pudding stotties and those nasty vinegary whelks they sell in the corner shops here. Yep. I’ve got it all planned.
