Well, following on from my bitter complaints about not having a decent bruise on my hip after falling down the stairs, this morning I strolled past the mirror and saw this! Isn’t it lush? The pic is on its side cos my work computer doesn’t seem to have the facility to rotate it, but you do get a flash of my knickers in there for free, not to mention my milky white thigh. Sexeee.

I’m feeling quite overwhelmed at the moment, there seems to be rather too much on my place and too little time/energy to do it in/with. I just seem to be be barely keeping up with work, college and housework. I was so busy last night that I didn’t have time to take my shoes off till half past nine, and was in bed at 10.15, wiped out. I didn’t have time to check that my Icelandic savings account wasn’t going to be wiped out… and oh, fuck, looks like it might have been. Shiiiit.

But today is college day, so that, oddly, gives me an excuse to do far less when I get home than I do on a normal day. But the vast majority of it still needs doing at some point.

Ow, ow, ow, I hurt in every part of my body from my spectacular tumble down the stairs yesterday, though I haven’t yet come up in bruises worthy of such a plunge, more’s the pity. What’s the point in falling face-first down a whole flight of stairs if you don’t have a set of colourful bruises to show off? Gah.

Posting early so it’s the first thing I see in the morning and don’t faff about all day.

Well, blurgh, the weekend has been a bit of a washout. I have been proper ill, projectile snotting all weekend, my throat feels like someone’s had a bonfire in it and my brain is as agile as a bowl of blancmange (made with half the amount of milk required), so I haven’t achieved remotely what I set out to do. I did manage a haircut and a mediocre night out which ended with me and HA sweating/shivering hot and cold in a taxi office, desperate to go home while our friends partied on into the night. Frankly, if I hadn’t already paid for the gig ticket I would have opted for a night in under a duvet with some hot Lemsip action. Blurgh.

I’m pretty sure I won’t be fit for work in the morning, not least because I don’t want to infect everyone else with this. But my FTF list marches on. Hope I can find the brainpower and energy to do some of it because it’s mostly time-bound. I can’t afford to get behind on college at this early stage in the game.

Dammit, though, I should be on the couch :-( Poorliness is about the only time I ever regret getting rid of the telly.
