watch every episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000

it doesn’t really have anything to do with this goal, but in my gothic and horror lit. class (thanks to me) we’re going to watch an episode of MST3k!

the only one i can think of that’s really gothic at all is ‘the screaming skull.’ oh how i wish that ‘the final sacrifice’ was even remotely gothic. ha ha ha. rowsdower!

ok, ok… this one might be even wackier than the santa claus movie! half hilarious, half terrifying? a very very good one.

one of the best movies yet. yes, a mexican children’s film about satan trying to destroy christmas.. i think. love it, love it, love it!!!

too bad he is 25 years older than me. oh well.

i’m doing really well with this goal because it’s so fun. :) we watch one or two episodes every day, but that might change when school starts up again… :( hopefully not though, cos this is awesome.

the episode with “teenage caveman” is terrific! it has two short films before it (‘aquatic wizards’ and ‘catching trouble’) that are hilarious.

watched “alien from l.a.” and “teenage strangler” today. soooo good. we’re not going in any particular order really, but this is awesome.

but still, POD PEOPLE is the best ever.

tonight we watched ‘beatniks’ (ridiculous movie that has nothing to do with beatniks), and last night we watched one of the very first episodes, ‘gamera vs. barugon’. the movie itself was horrible (the worst, just as promised), but since it was one of the very first episodes, it was really cute. joel and the robots were very quiet! great stuff.

it has come to my attention that unless i watched the show from the beginning (back in 1988 when i was 2 years old) this goal is actually impossible. some of the episodes are now non-existant because what i have (besides the ones released by rhino) is just a copy of tapes of the recorded show… i guess no one really recorded the first few. oh well! i will be content with watching every episode that it is possible to watch.

I bought my sister the whole collection on dvd for x-mas! Once she gets it we’ll be watching it alllll of the time. I can’t wait.
