Christmas came early this year! Hello ebay-bought lab!

but is now fixed for the 22nd. Very excited!

The whole thing has inspired me to dig deeper, I’ve just bought a couple of old 2610XMs with serial WICs and a back-to-back serial cable and two old catalyst switches from ebay so I can build my own little lab for testing.

Did the course, sloughed through the books, did a 5-day bootcamp, I’m fairly confident I can pass. I really enjoyed this course, even though in some respects it just touched on things without going ‘deep’. I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but I think I would like to start on CCNP next. But first up: some more practice and the actual exam!

Now learning for the ICND2 so I’ll be a full CCNA. Subnetting ahoy!

The actual material covered seems doable – it is just that finding the time to study is going to be hard :/

Starting in February due to the fact I need to take an Exchange 2007 course first and do some work-related travel, but yay!
