The original date I’m referencing from the first measurements is November 11th, 2005 so it’s been a little over three months. I had lost a little weight dieting and exercising before that date but hadn’t taken measurements until then. Arm: 11.5” – originally 13”. Bust: 35” – originally 37”. Waist: 30.5” – originally 36”. Hips: 39” – originally 44”. Thigh: 24.5” – originally 27”. Knee: 16.5” – originally 17”. Calf: 15” – originally 16”. I’ve also added a new measurement that I don’t have an older record for… my butt… it’s now 41”. Bust is right around the center of my breasts, crossing the nipples. Waist is my thinnest part. Hips is where I wear my pants. Butt is a little bigger than hips and a little lower. This is GREAT! I definitely feel like a new person and I am still making progress. Now the scale is averaging 157. Last week it was 160. Also right now I am on day 3 of my period so I’m sure I’m holding water and a little bloated from that. Initially my goal weight was 150. Once I get there I am definitely going to set a lower goal. I am 5’7” so it’s not unreasonable to go as low as 130. I am doing it all through diet, exercise, nutrition and detoxification. ...go me. However I had guests all weekend and I swear that I ate more this past weekend than I had in the previous two full weeks of dieting! And then my bf took me out to Valentines Dinner last night and we had lobster and filet mignon. I think I’m just going to avoid the scale this week.
Current weight as of today: 157. I’m on day 7 of the MC and when I started I was 165. I’m only half way through this 14+ day cleanse. I feel great!
Since I’ve been coming to this site I haven’t gone up, only down – except for a little teeter totting over the holidaze but I will let that go. Now I’m doing the MC for the second time. This morning the scale said 163 – that’s the lowest I got on the MC the first time and this is just the beginning of it this time around. I topped over 190 within the last year! I am very confident that I will be wearing a bikini this summer.
And, I haven’t really gained over the holidaze, just maintained. That alone is awesome progress and now I have all my ducks in a row to drop the rest. I feel it melting off of me every moment. I just picked up some stuff from storage that I haven’t seen in 4 years and it included old clothes of mine – 5 black garbage bags full! SOOOOOO much clothing. Now, I have to get back to the size I was 4 years ago! With a huge walk-in closet full of motivation this goal seems much less intimidating. And, I’m honestly only about 15lbs from the goal so it’s totally do-able at this point. I can’t wait to be strutting about in my old stuff. It’s so cool!
Eeeek! I was doing so good until recently. So much eating lately. I am going to be a little lenient on myself until the new year then pick this goal up again with a vengeance.
I just did a search on ‘weight’ to give cheers to everyone making progress and when I went to the goal ‘be skinny’ I was frightened by the posts they’re making there. They are encouraging each other not to eat and to be under 100lbs! It’s awful!
