...now that I’m thinking about it I often look around for people standing who could use it more than me when I’m fortunate enough to get a seat.

conversation with a stranger 3 years ago

Yesterday this guy just struck up a conversation with me on the street. Most people shy away from conversations w/strangers and I’m sure that most shy away from this stranger especially. He was 52 and homeless and dirty but I shook his hand and we walked 2 blocks in the same direction chatting the whole time. He told me he was very grateful and loved talking to pretty women. I’m sure he doesn’t get many opportunities. It made me feel good and made his day.
