Reframe, re-energize, move forward!

Everything that is going to get unpacked is unpacked, I think. Now I just need to figure out
(1) what I can dispose of
(2) how to put away the stuff that still doesn’t have a place.
My intent is for everything I own to have a place to be, so it isn’t stacked around and underfoot.
I’m not very good at this, but I’m determined.
Much more done today … and I just got word that two women in my building need boxes. Hurrah!
Can’t wait to be done with this. Keeping at it.
and I must say, I am thoroughly annoyed with the packers and movers.
Packing tape across the back of a print I love.
My beloved old Chemex coffee pot encased in newsprint and tape, then squished into a box where it turned into a package of shards.
ALL the glassware so mummified with wrappings and tape that it was tricky getting them unwrapped without slitting my wrists in the process.
A big part of it done today, though. Whew.
I set up the bookshelves, which involved dragging a lot of stuff around, and now I’m unpacking the kitchen boxes (because the remaining bookshelves go where the boxes are sitting.)
I realized that one thing I dislike about unpacking is all the shuffling around involved. Maybe I still have too much stuff!
how long does it take most people to unpack from a move?
I look at my boxes and frankly, I think, well, maybe I’ll deal with this later…
And I know it just has to be DONE. I’ve unpacked most of the clothes, but the rest of it looks like Everest.
