(1) back up the docs on my hard drive
(2) find disks for all my regular software
(3) hound my son about setting an appt to install my new, larger HD
... and when he has installed it (please let it be soon)

busy, busy…!
at the moment… I’ve got this interesting job where I commute to another city to work periodically. There’s a small motel at that place that has become very much like “home.” Tonight I have two jobs to do at home>
1. Practice the last lingering difficult bits of the Torah portion for Tuesday until I can do them without hesitation.
2. Smash a bunch of Saltines in a Ziplock bag.
I thought that was such a funny combo of tasks that I just HAD to post it!
but they MUST be done…
—make another round of calls/emails re the Marriage Equality Clergy letter
—lesson plan outlines for Sept 18.
—Make the phone calls for PJA
—Complete all the action items from Sunday meeting
—Do at least one bit of decluttering in the office
—List the stepping stones on freecycle
—more ‘ordering’ of the office.
—plan and set up tracking system for expenses.
—1 hour on the book, minimum.
My to-do list, prioritized:
—arrange for phone in apt
—phone calls (long list)
—extra keys made
—continue unpacking: at the VERY least, finish kitchen, make a good start on the writing table/space.
It’s a short list, but that’s deceptive. It has loads of stuff (mostly phone calls and unpacking) I don’t want to do. SO I shall remind myself (as many times as necessary) that I shall be very glad when these things are done!
Oh, and IF I get my work done, I get a massage on Wednesday. <—[carrot]
—meeting with caterer
—finish up prep for services
—go to post office
—mail resume for application
—drive to SF Valley for services
—last trip to Goodwill
—acquire more boxes
—go to cleaners
—separate out stuff that goes in my car, not with movers
—take enough breaks to stay sane and mobile
I am no longer “working from home” so much as I am moving… but this is really helpful to me.
Monday, April 7
—phone M.S.
—phone movers re estimates
—call caterers re estimates for party
—take last carload of donations to Goodwill
—call Honda about car – when can I bring it in?
—work on sermon for Friday evening
Woo HOO! Getting stuff DONE. Now I need to find a caterer and take that junk to Goodwill.
Update: Caterer gotten (at least, she’s sending me an estimate and sounds very cool, has good references.
I’m going to call it a day and take that dreck to Goodwill later.
Goin’ to a movie tonight, I think!
