Still dancing... 23 months ago

and I’m up to 15 minutes’ worth of bopping around the living room. Thank goodness no one can see me!



I saw this goal... 2 years ago

on someone else’s list, and I thought, wow! I’ve been dancing for my exercise, but not everyday—I’d made a list that was exactly 20 min long, and …

long story short, this feels SO doable.

So I’m changing “exercise daily” to this, because this inspired me.

Lately... 2 years ago

I’ve been dancing. That works surprisingly well for me—30 minutes of enough movement to make me sweat, of whatever kind of movement my body is up for that day. Flexible and fun.



Progress 2 years ago

I’m doing a lot better in this department … FitDay has given me an incentive to build exercise into my daily routine, which for now is getting more movement per day even if I’m not actually “working out”.

aside from some walking I have fit in around other things, this wasn’t happening. Then, my younger son proposed to me that we join a gym together. He really loves going and has missed the gym that was available to him at college. The fact that he loves it and we’ll go together from time to time will help me keep my motivation up, too.

I love my kids.

Not walking today…. did my Egoscue routine, but owww, it’s cold (for the Bay Area, anyhow)....
