Releasing three books today, after a long hiatus.

This has now become a habit… any book I don’t need to keep, I set free. Much more fun than dusting them!

I left more books in my wake, traveling in Colorado. Time to register a few more and send them on their way.

This is a great way to clear my shelves of books I liked but am never going to read again! I hope that the folks who are finding them are reading them, or passing them along—every now and then I wonder if one has been sent to the trash can, which is a very sad idea.

Released two more! 4 years ago

One in the laundromat, on the way to the airport (nothing like having the one washing machine in your building go on the blink the night you need to do laundry before a trip!). And I released the other just now, in the lobby of my hotel in Denver.

I wonder if anyone will log either of ‘em…

Goodie! 4 years ago

I’m going to the airport tomorrow… and I’m going to take some books to release along the way to my destination.

This is going to be fun!

Set another one free at 5pm 4 years ago

Another book on the loose, this time in a Starbuck’s in Santa Monica. Run, book, run!

Well, I keep sharing them; so far one person has left a journal entry about finding a book. The point is giving them away, not getting any particular result, right?

www.bookcrossing.com 4 years ago

http://www.bookcrossing.com is a website for tracking books you “release into the wild” (leave someplace where they’ll be found.) Seems like a lovely idea for sharing the goodies. My goal is to release ten good books I’m unlikely to read again, and then see what happens.
