I saw a show on tv where this professor of Literature was talking about reading, and how he phrased it is how I used to read books.

Reading a book, it is like a duel between the reader and the author. Challenging their views with yours. And this painting of Chardin shows how to engage reading. Here you see the reader wearing his best clothes, sitting on a chair, with the paper weights. He is ready to battle the author;)
With all the multimedia, there are other mediums of getting information. I can’t even imagine how much information there is on the internet alone. We have to make choices on what to read. And since I also need to study more, maybe I should start with reading study materials. To be honest when reading I rather wear my comfy clothes ;)
