So…I moved to New York. I got to $5000 before I left, and now I think I’m back down to $1200, or will be once I pay my taxes.
That’s ok. It’s a new year and I can start over.

Soooo…moving to New York.
Gonna have to start over.
Oh well.
I’M MOVING TO NEW YORK! So totally worth blowing my savings.
I went to a wedding on the East Coast, and then I wasn’t paying attention to how much I was spending and dipping into my savings and a lost a $1000. Poopy. So I’m still sitting at $3000. I’m not sure I’m even going to make it to $5000 before I depart for New York, but I’ll keep trying. I put myself back on a cash only budget, so hopefully that will help.
So, ideally I’d like to have $10,000 by late next fall. I know that’s ambitious, but I can do it. I have a couple lump sums coming my way the majority of which can be plunked into my savings account. On my way!
