Start a foundation

but i’m creating a website helping people to do stuff like this:

so hopefully i’m just steps closer towards starting my own foundation

I think 43things is doing a wonderful job helping people (and me) realise their dreams.

But part of the reason I’m able to realise mine is because I’m well off.

I’m from Malaysia, so there’s a lot of people who wanted to do stuff but couldn’t do so due to money constraints. Plus most of the free programs are designed for academic education and not extended to other activities.

When I figure out how to start a foundation (hopefully with proper care and planning so that it stays stable and not just a 1-year thing), I’m gonna focus my time on allowing people (especialy youths) to mould their own life and take up activities beyond those of which their families@society has prescribed them to take, not necessarily to pursue seriously, but just so that they grow up knowing that they have a say in what they want to do or be in life.

I really hope this isn’t something I dismiss later in life.

The way I hope my goal will succeed, I wish the same for all of you out there with a dream to better the life of people (and animals).
