watch the IMDB.com Top 250 movies

Mine was from over a year ago… lets hope it didn’t change too much, thatsalottamovies!

liked the list, but needed a night off of socializing after that one, went to bed early.

Didn’t enjoy ‘falcon’ and i am getting less and less chuffed to read all the mysteries in my book lineup… i guess i don’t like suspense. is that possible?

I especially don’t like suspense music all ‘minor keys are gonna get ya!’

At least in the list you knew that most of the cast was going to be killed so it wasn’t such a shock when it happened.

I actually liked the rompy romance it happened one night. It wouldn’t happen one night in our culture today but that’s what made it charmant.

The outsiders bored me to tears but if i were an 11 y.o. boy it would’ve rocked.

NxNW is campy, and actiony and my dad probably enjoyed it but the best thing i can say about it is that it gets points for them climbing over the faces of the presidents in the mountain.

I really enjoyed all three of these flicks, thoroughly.
Rebel without a cause especially its aged well and i totally get the james dean thng now. :)

i have been feeling a bit over-socialized lately… and so hanging back and getting absorbed in a few classics is serving me well.

I watched:
The treasure of the sierra madre
Lost Weekend and
Dial ‘M’ for murder in the past few days.

Lost weekend was so dated… like an oldschool trainspotting, and i had to keep myself busy while watching it to get through it.

Okay, So i’m catching up on some more contemporary ‘classics’ and they’re well…. okay. I’m not super sure that i like the terminator series because its well…. so ‘processed’ and there are so many loopholes and easy outs… but i wonder if that isn’t what makes it so lovable.?

Plugging away at this list, and glad to have a narrower frame than ‘what do you want to watch…? well, whatever you want to watch!’

I am watching the movies on this list that i have remaining that happen to be in the collection of the people that i know here in seattle while they’re available..

I really liked the Last Crusade.. i always enjoy some connery.
I LOVED donnie darko.. it felt like a chuck palahniuck book, but with a little more resolution… it got me thinking about my ability to control my life, or not, and how little we really know about time travel now that its theoretically possible…. Really glad i saw that one… i’ll be in that headspace for a few weeks i bet!

I’m having a great time with this movie list when i get to it.
I haven’t watched much since before christmas, but last night i saw the first indiana jones movie. :)
Good times.

Its funny that i felt like I was watching the ‘indiana jones lego’ video game a bit because I already knew what was going to happen.

Lookin’ forward to lots of movie cuddles this summer. :)

I have a new movie guru who is helping me to work my way through this list. :) We watched TWBB first, and its LONG but honestly i enjoyed it far more than i had expected.. Its a VERY good movie even if it was a little over-acted.

Duck soup, is something that made me feel like ‘why hadn’t i seen this?’. I loved it! Its a little dated and there are a few old school racist quip in there someplace that made a little spinechill happen… but i want to show it to my neices/nephews anyway because it holds up. Still funny.

I have to find out where to rent video’s in this town.
I think there’s a blockbuster not too far from my transfer point on the bus… I’d like to try and watch a few movies a week instead of getting home and watching coronation street (You know i love you corrie, but you’re just not helping my fulfill my goals).
