Wow – what a nice meal and thoroughly unplanned too and so much the better for it. I saw this place last night whilst walking home and noticed that it had undergone a refit and so tonight whilst trying to think of where to go – I suggested it.
Lovely fish!
Smoked halibut and mango for me.
Fish Soup for Helena.
Then we both had the Assiete Creole – mixed fish in a lovely tomatoe and red pepper sauce
A bottle of lovely rose wine (Castillo del Diablo – Shiraz rose – basically a little like Ribena for adults)
Some good company nattering about work, ballet, dancing, cycling and life in general.
If there is a nicer way to spend a Friday night then I have yet to find it.
Oh the view – well I sat looking out of the window at the various people standing at the bus stop in the lovely Finsbury Park. – Okay it doesn’t sound that illuminating but then again I do love people watching.
