I love this because I love Cats and I love hammers.

Oh it is super cute as well.
If you had a fantastic knocker like this would you ask people to “Please ring the Bell” – NO!!!!!!
You might have to open this picture up to see the small label underneath…
Okay – I have loved a band called Bonzo Dog and the Doodah Band since I was a small child.
And now there is a new pretender on the block
Max Raabe and Palast Orchester – oooh it is weird and good – a guy from the thirties singing popular music – the best I have heard is their cover of Brittany Spears Lucky – guaranteed smile on your face.

Just posting cool websites and songs is lame but:

I went to buy loads of lovely cheese from an ace cheese shop in Highbury called La Fromagerie. We spent about 30 pounds on cheese to eat after our special fake christmas dinner (thats a lot of smelly cheese).

It made the car smell cheesy – yum!

I have been sending postcards of these cool cats to people around the world using the wonder of postcrossing. There is something about these that fits with me – absurd, time consuming, cute and strange. Are these the end of beatrix potter or just a new beginning? Ugh – I am remember Forever friends and those ghastly cutesy animal cards from the 80 and 90s. I apologise to the world for my lack of taste and style.
I am not sure if you can get more inane and nonsensical that writing a postcard (via www.postcrossing.com) to a German Newfoundland called Balou – he apparently likes the dog biscuits that the postwoman brings.
I have chosen a lovely cartoon of a cat – hope he is a cool dog :-)
Seriously – my favourite pun recently has been in revenge to my friend who talks slightly too much about his handmade in Northampton shoes (you know who are…) to which I geefully shout “cobblers” – which means “bullsh*t” in England.
Somewhere deep down there is something in the British character that insists that punning is not only funny but also clever good – hence the fantastic newpaper headlines (okay – mainly the Sun but what the hey!) – even the television get in on the game – just witness the recent bra-wars gags…
