There are several barns in the area that a person can ride at. Some require you have a horse of your own, and of course they costs of housing your horse there are a part of the deal. But there are others who provide horses.
In the May/June 2009 Omaha/Lincoln Pet Enthusiast Magazine, one such location was highlighted called Pegasus although it sounds like it is meant for women who need to learn leadership skills or something. The wording on the website reads a little too alternative healing type jargon for me, as well. But it is always good to know of places like this.

So, this does not really count as ride horses again, but my family and I went on a trail ride Friday on our trip to Estes Park, CO. It’s the first time I’ve been on a horse in years. It was lots of fun. I really wish I had more opportunities for horse riding. (Of course, there are no pictures of me on a horse because I was the one with the camera.)

I rode horses at camp as a teenager. Whenever my family went someplace that you could take a horse ride, we did it, for me. My family and myself have never had the amount of money it takes to ride horses as a family who lives in the city. Despite relatives who own horses, I haven’t gotten to keep riding horses.
I can’t find anything local so that I could go ride a horse. It would be nice to go on a regular basis.
