I can officially scratch this one off the list, because I have lost 15 pounds since joining weight watchers in June. Add that to the five pounds I lost pre-weight watchers, and I’ve gone from 160 in Jan. to 140 now, from a size 14 to a 10! But, when I wrote this as a goal, I had no idea I weighed 160 lbs. So now I’ve made it my goal to loose 15 more. But I’m not letting that count against me here. If I hadn’t lost the first 15 I promised myself I would at the time, then I wouldnt even have the motivation to keep going.
For you others who have this same goal- I highly recommend weight watchers. The points system makes it so much easier than guessing at what’s healthy. And by getting into the habit of checking labels for fat, fiber, and calories, I decided to go all the way and also check for trans-fats and animal un-friendly ingredients. So I’m a better vegetarian for it, and I’m healthier. But I still squeeze in a delicious vegan mocha chocolate cake once in awhile!
