Learn Portuguese

Well, I’m making an actual start on learning Portuguese. It’s just one of those simple 2 CD + a Book learning course things. I’m going to have to take it really really slow, due to all the other things I’ve got going on.. But I’ve got a plan to follow through on it and it’s even listed in my day planner. I’ll be done with it in January.

After that I’ll be able to pick up a more advanced course, and maybe join up on xlingo or get a penfriend or something.

I’m already working with an artist in Brazil for the artwork for the music album I’m working on.

Portuguese is not offered by the college I’m going to.. which makes sense as there really is a large Spanish speaking population in the area, but no Portuguese, to the best of my knowledge. I am taking Spanish, which would be more beneficial anyway. It might also be a reasonable stepping stone to Portuguese in the future.
