get corrective eye surgery or lasik

well this is more to me then just fixing my eyes and not having the wear contacts all the time.. Okay so heres the things… im in the Air Force and when i joined i was told i couldnt do still photographic bc i need to at least have my eyes be the same as in wear the same persription, which i dont so i couldnt get my dream job. i love the job i have.. air crew life support, i inspect survival equipmetn for the aircrew, but in less than 3 years i can cross train, well if i get this surgery i can get the job i want… so this is real big deal to me!
