It’s interesting to see how easier is to Brazilian people learn spanish, although it has a bad side: you can mix the things and it’s hard to separe, known as “portunhol”.
About my process of learning:
I’m doing a course of ‘intrumental spanish’ where I see a little bit of the important things of the language, but is not like traditional course – and I think that I don’t need to do that, as my teacher said.
The point is that everybody needs to practice the reading and the oral, also learn well the grammar, and I’m hard-working ;)
Oh! I’m also subscribed to the Coffee Break Spanish collection, is very well-made and constructive, speacially to people who mothertongue is english and try to learn spanish. For me is nice to hear and practice, but it seems a little awkward because is too basic for the ones who are more familiar with the spanish language.
It’s quite weird when you realize how similiar and how different spanish is from portuguese. One of the most funny things is trying to speak as it really should be (the right way), “falando para dentro”, speak not to the outside but inside your mouth.
And to be fluent, I want to travel around the Latin America, that’s a very nice and simple way to learn. ;))
