So after the weekend from hell during which who knows what the hell happened between myself and my significant other, I got a hell of a lot of yoga done. I also hiked, went to the lake and hung out by the pool – just trying to do everything that generally calms me down. I think I did at least half an hour of yoga a day, and as soon as finals are finished this week, I’ll definitely be doing at least an hour.
Can anyone recommend any good stretching tapes? I’m not looking for anything too glam or fast, I just want slow, real, purposeful yoga instruction.

I’m really not so bad on this goal… I do as many of these fifteen minute segments as I can fit into any free time I have. They’re slow and easy and unlike that shit on FitTV, you can actually SEE the movements she’s doing. I’ve been doing yoga my entire life, and I’m still really flexible, but she definitely works muscles I haven’t in awhile, and is restoring a lot of flexibility I’d lost.
Thank God for PBS and South Carolina ETV. And TiVo, cause there’s no way I’m waking up at 6:30 when these come on in the morning…although that would help my “become a morning person” goal.
My goal is to actually start going to the classes that are offered at the Gym at my University. I wonder if they offer those over summer.
