Give blood and find out my blood type

I donated blood again on August 15th and found out my blood type is O positive. :) For someone who is terrified of needles, I’ll just recommend starting up a conversation with the doc/nurse taking your blood and DON’T look at anything before and during the needle going in. It only pinches a little. I scrunched up my nose and eyes for a second and then it was over. It wasn’t bad at all. I look forward to giving again.

I gave blood on March 17, 2008. The nurse said my blood type would be sent to me in the mail, but I never heard from the naval hospital afterward. Oh well, next time I give blood I’ll be sure to find out.
