get rid of my folliculitis

This is raised bumps (kind of like pimples that don’t pop) that are caused by bacteria under the skin. It wouldn’t come out at all if I didn’t have to shave, but I must. They say it can be cured by an oral and/or cream antibiotic. I’ve done both at the same time and it never went away. I’ve had it since my tweens and being almost 21 now I’ve learned to live with it. Still, it hurts knowing that I’ve never been able to wear shorts confidently or a bikini bottom ever because of it.
In addition, when I get pimples around my thighs they leave scars. I know a couple other people that have this problem but they’re not light-skinned like myself. So while they know these scars are there, you couldn’t see them in florescent lighting with a magnifying glass.
Basically, I’m screwed x2.
