My bf and I have challenged each other to get 6-pack ab’s so we’ve started doing sit-ups every morning. Not content with that, I added we should also do press-ups. It was our first day today so will be interesting to see how long the commitment lasts!
Kewl! I got issued a challenge by a very inspiring fellow 43T’er to put my blogging ideas into action. Lol, is it that obvious I’m an expert procrastinator?? ;)
Anyway, the only reason I want to blog is to record stories of places I’ve been and things done travelling. I’ve also always wanted to have my own website (even though I hate working on the damned things) to post up photos (of which I’ve got a lot already) so I’m going to combine the two goals into one project (makes sense).
Thanks for the encouragement Darla! I’ll keep y’all posted on my progress :)
scared the beegeezus outa me because I’m so phobic on heights
All things said and done, I must still remain open to new opportunities and challenges.
If the pressure and expectations of others is getting me down, and life is becoming too predetermined, I need to challenge it – be brave! push those walls back! break free! see beyond the problems! live beyond the hurt! aspire for greater good! keep my faith! stand strong! Be all I can be!
Don’t look back – life is ahead of me not behind.
Whatever I want is achievable as long as I don’t talk myself out of the options. My challenge is to retain an open mind and not be constrained by obstacles.
Apparently I’m going to learn to snowboard one of the coming weekends. Now there’s a challenge!! A person with a complete lack of coordination and no previous experience with white fluffy stuff learning how to snowboard :o) this will be tooooo funny!
I must catch up on some web work today… else someone will be so PO’d with me… and thats just not fair when I made a promise to them and they’re relying on me… time to get my A into G!!!!!
I had my first attempt at river rafting this last weekend. It was freezing temperatures (all glacier melt, snowed in the area the week before), I cant swim and I’m petrified of deep water (most likely because I cant swim so good). But I didn’t fall out (thank goodness or I might have caught more than a cold!!) and I enjoyed it immensely :)
Can’t wait to give it another bash in the warmer season, perhaps after a few swimming lessons (not to mention how to use that silly bit of stick with the flat end on it… a what? a paddle you say? it does what?? oh, so not to push away nasty looming rocks or wave around extactically when you made it throught the last hole without falling out!)... yes lots to learn, but there lies the challenge, and I feel a little bit more alive for it!
PC girl gets Mac work – a challenge at last! Love a job where there’s a whole lota learning to sink my teeth into.. and the stressful environment came at no extra cost… go the challenge :) awesome move, in there, doin it, lovin it!
