what started as a great free tool by an illuminated mind becomes a soap box for peoples political agenda… interjected with some hilarious observations by the geographically challenged… some brilliant dry retorts from the academics… and then some just plain absurd requests… it gets so inane i honestly cant tell who is serious and who’s taking the piss!!! i wonder how many visitors who commented actually read the intro which states how he has chosen to define the countries???

i guess from a travelling point of view i tend to categorise the places i’ve been from a cultural and geographic perspective… but for the project of this website, illustrating a world map based on political definitions is pretty understandable… its awful to laugh at the angry really, but i find it so funny so many got their knickers in a knot about it. sheesh, go ahead and make NZ a state of Australia and I’ll probably fall off my chair clutching my sides!!! i’ve laughed so much already and i’m only a quarter down the page!!! and i note i’m not the only one who couldnt take the long stream of comments seriously – cheers to all those who know how to laugh at life a little :)

A good place to get a genuine jaw-acheing stomach-cramping uncontrollable laugh or two! I’ve seen the Bad Dog Theatre Company productions of Hairy Potter and the Improvisors Stone and Starz Warz. Both were sufficiently inane and nonsensical to have me in giggle fits :)

And the Toronto Improv Festival starts tommorrow!!!
