clean up my house and keep it clean

Still very very messy….
yikes! I’m starting to wonder if I’ll EVER get it clean!

Ugh! We got off to such a great start… we had the master bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom all REALLY clean…. but between my husband’s work and class schedule and my work and class schedule… and all the overtime I’ve been working the house is quickly becoming a disaster again! Granted..it’s not as bad as it was…. but we’ve got quite a bit of work to do.

I made HUGE progress on this today finally, with a LOT of help from my husband. Our house had become SUCH an unbelievable mess… dishes, clutter, dust, you can’t imagine. It was totally overwhelming the last week or so… I didn’t even know where to start.

But we started last night (we both work night shift, so we’re up at weird hours) and just started cleaning. I cleaned the upstairs master bedroom, bathroom, and hallway. He cleaned the kitchen, living room, and stairs. They look great! It’s SO much more relaxing now.

Tomorrow I’m hoping to get the office, spare bedroom, and shampooing of the carpets on the middle floor and upstairs done.

We will still have the lower set of stairs, downstairs bathroom, downstairs spare bedroom, garage and hallway left to do. (All hopefully will also be done this week)

We also need to mow the lawn once more before it snows and take the trash to the dump.. My goal is to have all of it done by Saturday afternoon and then just work on keeping everything clean from here out.
