Finished week 3 run 2 today after a longish break. I’ve had to slow down because I got runner’s knee and it was only getting worse—I didn’t want to injure it seriously so I let it rest for a week or so.
When I ran today I could feel my knees complaining a little bit so I’ll see if they’re sore tomorrow and probably leave it at least 3 days before I do run 3.3.
It’s frustrating but I really want to finish this program so I’m just going to try to progress slowly.

Completed week 2, day 2 today. I was really puffed out actually. It’s kindof annoying because doing 90sec runs and 2min walks shouldn’t be that strenuous but there I am getting stitches in my side. I’ve got a little bit of that self-doubt saying “you can’t even make it through week 2 without hurting let alone run 5k’s” but I’m just going to put my faith in the system and trust that my body is adapting with me. I’m still really enjoying the feeling of accomplishment every time I complete a day.
p.s. I downloaded the iphone app ‘Get Running’ for this and I’m loving it.

I just finished week 1 of C25K. I know I’ve got a long way to go but I feel really good that I’ve started something and gotten through the first segment. Starting week 2 in 2 days, yay!
Also, does anyone else get really itchy when they run? I think it might have something to do with bodyfat. Interval training is helping with that—I’m hoping it’ll gradually go away.
