47. London Break = St Bartholomew the Great, London (6/11/11)

Wow, this was HIGH.
Singing in Latin, the priests in Gold and Lace, lots of Lace.
9 (NINE) officiatents.
Smells (Tons of incense, swirling to the heavens)
Bells (at the moment of the hosts creation)
and Bobbing about (it was pure theatre)

46. Preparation time for Preaching - Desborough Baptist Church (16/10/2011)

That’s all the Churches in Desborough.
The communion was taken simultaneously and communally. It was a first time experience for me.
Preaching, as always, was excellent.

45. A weekend break = Wesley's Chapel, London (7/8/2011)

Surprisingly high with all the officiants robed and sung responses. Highly enjoyable service.

44. Methodist Conference at the Floral Hall, Southport (6/7/2011)

At the Conference Communion Service, had Communion from the Vice-President on the Methodist Conference, Ruth Pickles.

What is it with me and Vice Presidents?

43. Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, Liverpool for a Methodist Ordination Service (3/7/2011)

As a member of Methodist Conference, I went to an Ordination service in the largest protestant building in the UK.

IT’S HUGE

But we filled it with our singing.

42. The Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem (8/11/10)

I fulfilled a Christian life long dream and had communion in the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem.
As see this communion as the closure of my unthinking christian life. In short, I closed a chapter so what next ???

41. Garden of Gethsemane (6/11/10)

The Garden of Gethsemane for our Service, we found a quiet (relatively speaking) for our service. We broke bread in the site of Jesus’ betrayal.

40. YMCA Gardens, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee (4/11/10)

It was a Very moving Communion service listening to the lapping of the water, the birds and the wind in the trees, in the place that Jesus walked upon.

39. Circuit Synod at Rugby Methodist Church Centre, Rugby (11/9/10)

Northampton District Synod and I had to give a report back from Methodist Conference, I made a video.
The church was full and I was given communion by Chair of District.

38. St Michael & All Angels, Tunstall (4/7/10)

Went to Suffolk to train them in running Christmas Tree Festivals, went to a lovely church with Georgian box pews where my old curate is now the Vicar and had communion.
Box pews give a very different feel to a church.
