I buried a close friend several years ago. The Northern lights played a significant role in out relationship, as did the Ace of Hearts playing card. On three occassions, during periods of significant conflict/disruption in my life, the Ace of Hearts appeared, seemingly out of no where. Almost a year after Erik died I felt an unexplainable urge to see the crash sight, so I followed it and drove towards the highway he died on. At one point I looked up, through the sunroof of my vehicle and saw the most beautiful sight… The Northern lights. The urge to contiue to the crash sight passed and I pulled over and starred at the scene for hours. Part of my heart healed that night. And I continue to honor him when I view The Northern lights.
